Maltipoo refers to the combination of Miniature Poodle and Maltese. They look like AMltese when it comes to the appearance and they take after Poodle when it comes to the curly hair and longer limbs.

Cavapoo is the term to call the combination between Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This one takes after Cavalier when it comes to the looks and Poodle when it comes to the fur texture and size. They are included as smart breed.


Both Maltipoo and Cavapoo are included as small dogs with Maltipoo being a bit smaller compared to the Cavapoo. The average height of Maltipoos is 8 to 13 inches tall, while Cavapoos have the average height of 9 to 14 inches tall. As for the weight, Cavapoo is a bit heavier compared to Maltipoo by about 5 pounds, on average.


Maltipoos have wavy and soft coat. They also look fluffy and woolly. They have almost all colors with the majority includes apricot, gold, white, grey, cream, and black. Both Maltipoo and Cavapoo need proper vaccination such as rabies and some other ones to keep their health and for the people around them. For Maltipoo, when they are fully grown and you do not want further puppies, you are suggested to visit a vet to make them either spaying or neutering them to avoid getting the new ones. For Cavapoo, other than the regular vaccinations mentioned before, they will not need much more, unless there is a certain health condition.
